Women of Colour SF Writers
Note: this is a vastly incomplete work in progress. This list is primarily, but not only, major authors* currently** working in English-language sf. I include (as far as I can) their homepage, years of birth/death (if they have died), nationality*** and main sub-genres****. Ideally I would like an author for every letter of the alphabet!
For more resources about people of colour in science fiction, see the Carl Brandon Society wiki.

* “Major” for my purposes: multiple books published/anthologies edited / just one book/anthology, but it’s important / won an award / was shortlisted for a major award.
** Did you know it’s actually illegal to make a list of POC in SF without including Octavia Butler? TRUFAX.
*** The country they mostly live/publish in, as opposed to ethnicity/background/whatever. Right now the list is all North American but I’m hoping to expand it.
**** In cases where I’m not familiar with their work I’ve skimmed their homepage and taken a wild guess.
