PSY and MC Hammer Shut Down The 2012 AMAs “Gangham Style”

The highlight of the night at the 40th annual American Music Awards was the show’s closing performance of “Gangham Style” by South Korean artist “PSY”. With over 700 Million views of his video on youtube this was something that everybody was waiting for, but what viewers didn’t expect was a surprise cameo the king of dance-MC Hammer. PSY {rockin hammer pants} and Hammer set the stage on fire and showed off their dance skills to a remixed of Hammer’s “2 Legit 2 Quit” and “Gangham Style” which brought the crowd to their feet.

Holy moley but that was good.

I love how much the audience is digging it.  They’re all fancy jaded “goes to awards shows” type people, and they are up on their feet going wild the whole damn time.  That’s awesome.
