TDOR

Today’s the International Transgender Day of Remembrance, a day of worldwide vigils for the trans* people who have died because of transphobic violence—let’s make this a bit more clear, died because cis people killed them—487 since January 2008, 179 of whom died since the last TDOR, many of them women of colour in Central and South America. Today, we honour their memory as the wider world never has.
