The Thing (2011) - Red Band Trailer
Universal has just released their new red band trailer on IGN for their upcoming prequel to John Carpenter’s classic horror film, The Thing. Though the trailer does a lot of reveals about who the creature infects, which does take away a lot of the mystery behind the film, it’s not exactly a bad thing. Seeing as this is a prequel film, for those who have already seen the original 1982 film we all know that everyone in the Norwegian expedition *spoiler alert*
dies*spoiler alert*. Though the effects may not be practical, which will irk fans of the original film, the CG effects of the creatures shown in short clips in this trailer do look really good and eerily creepy.The film is out next month, so be on the lookout!
